Ian Mason Joins Echelon as Claims Consultant
11th September 2009 - Echelon Claims Consultants has appointed Ian Mason as Claims Consultant based in their London office.
Candy Holland, Managing Director, Echelon, says "Ian is a mechanical engineer with over 15 years risk management and claims experience in handling technical engineering and property risks. He joins Echelon from Crawford in Thailand, having worked on complex engineering, property and construction claims and risk management projects throughout Asia, predominantly in Thailand, China, Taiwan & Korea. He has extensive experience in major and complex losses and catastrophe events throughout the world including management of major loss recovery projects".
Prior to Crawford, Ian worked for Belfor-Relectronic, dealing with damage management, loss recovery and risk surveys before leaving to run his own loss and risk consultancy business. Past risk management experience includes front and back end semiconductor, power generation, telecommunications, manufacturing, food and catering facilities and large property construction projects.
Commenting on his appointment, Ian says, "I'm really excited about joining the team at Echelon and will deal primarily with property, construction and engineering related losses in the UK, Europe and Far East. I am keen to develop Echelon's pre loss services, particularly in the areas of risk survey, loss scenario testing and claims protocols".
